Welcome to my personal (travel) blog. This blog is an expression of me, my thoughts, and experiences. Here I’ll be sharing my insights on the destinations I’ve been to, as well as sharing my thoughts on subjects that have little or nothing to do with traveling (the Diary page).
What makes this blog different from other travel blogs is that it’s sui generis (a word we use very often in the legal jargon). It means constituting a class of its own. It’s neither here nor there, you can’t really qualify it fully as only a travel blog. Also, I write from my point of view, what I’ve seen, what I like and don’t like. I will try to take into consideration that whoever is reading this might have different opinions and interests, however I want to focus on sharing my personal experience.
Purpose of this blog
What is the purpose of this blog? Primarily to express myself. Everything you’ll find here is an expression of me.
The original idea was to share where I’ve been and what my experience was in a certain destination. This could help you plan your own vacation. I’ve been to many places and simply want to share my knowledge and the memories I’ve created. It would be a shame to keep it all just to myself. Also, I have so many beautiful pictures they should be shared, it would be a shame if they were just being stored in my camera roll.
After I started writing this blog, I realized there are things and thoughts that I want to share that aren’t really travel related (the Diary page). That is just me sharing my thoughts. If anybody is up to discussing any of the topics that I write about in that section, hit me up on IG. It could be therapeutic for both of us.
I deeply believe in and follow my intuition. I listen to what my feelings and body are telling me. So, when something inside you tells you to create a blog, you just do it (Nike, feel free to sponsor me 🙂 ).
What you’ll find here
What you won’t find here is ALL information about a certain destination. I won’t be writing about something that I haven’t experienced personally. For example, if I only spent a few days in Jordan, I’ll simply share what it is that I visited and my tips around that. I won’t be sharing advice on something that I personally didn’t experience and have knowledge on.
