I’m sure it has happened to all of us. We say something or think about something and then next thing you know, it happens in real life. It might be something good, or bad. We tend to take it as pure coincidence, luck or bad juju. I believe believe it’s more than that, I believe we can explain it with the law of attraction.

A palm tree kept throwing shade on to my sunbed and after moving the sunbed three times I simply gave up and took that as a sign that I should go for a walk on the beach. Next thing I know, I see two huge humpback whales jumping out of the water incredibly close to shore!!!! That palm tree made sure I didn’t miss whales saying hello! Everything in life happens for a reason.

After a long day I go for a walk on the beach in the evening. I’m looking at the ocean as the waves are gently crashing against the sand. I look at the sky above the water, the colors and how the flow between each other. Suddenly my eyes start watering up and tears come running down my face. It’s not tears of sadness. It’s good tears, tears of inner peace, happiness. My body fills up with energy and releases it back into the ocean.

Starting a new chapter in my life, on the other side of the world. I decided that working at a law firm in Slovenia wasn’t fulfilling me. Dominican Republic was calling my Latina soul, so who am I to not answer this call? Took a job in tourism and moved to the land of dembow, bachata, loud music and the most beautiful sunsets I’ve ever seen.
